WE REACH OUR HANDS IN FRIENDSHIP AND DIGNITY

We reach out our hands in friendship and dignity, treating all people with respect, compassion and empathy, supporting their independence and acknowledging their unique needs, preferences and characteristics.

The EMS Foundation assists the schools we support through holistic interventions for sustainable futures. One such action is the provision of individual dignity hygiene packs every term to learners in support of their well-being.

Through the well coordinated efforts of a dedicated community outreach programme, the EMS Foundation has handed out 3048 dignity packs in 2024 to Grade R – Grade 12 learners in the Vaalwater and Alma areas in Limpopo Province in South Africa.

Another action is the provision of meals which are made by the Lunch Box Fund for the EMS Foundation. In 2024, the EMS Foundation has provided 322 540 meals to children from Grade R – Grade 12 in the Vaalwater and Alma areas in Limpopo Province in South Africa.

We are building a caring society by reaching out our hands in friendship to promote dignity, respect, compassion and empathy, and by acknowledging their unique needs, preferences and characteristics. Interventions like these also improve school attendance rates and relieves parents of the monthly expenditure burden and provides healthy nutrition which is absolutely vital for all childhood development and assists children so that they are able to concentrate at school.
